Dimmit Appraisal District is responsible for appraising all real and business personal property within Dimmit County. The district appraises property according to the Texas Property Tax Code and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).
The Appraisal District will continue to keep safety a priority to ensure a safe working environment for the staff and public due to the Covid-19 health issues.
Mask wearing will be optional but recommended.
The Dimmit Central Appraisal District does continue to encourage Taxpayers and the public to communicate with us by telephone, postal service, email, fax, whenever possible.
A Drop Box is available outside the office for any documents that need to be dropped off. The box will be checked, on a daily basis, Monday thru Friday.
